FOG - NEW MUSIC ON MYSPACE
It's been almost a year since Fog's last release Loss Leader. Now Andy Broder is back and he's got the whole band together for a whole bunch of new records including his latest album Ditherer, out on Lex later this summer.
Capturing the full rock sound of his live shows that was never attempted in his previous works, Fog comes out blasting with tracks such as 'Your Beef Is Mine' and 'I Have Been Wronged'.
The first singles are 7" picture discs featuring remixes by Akron Family, Jesu (ex-Napalm Death) and Dntel. You can listen to some of the new tracks on Fog's MySpace page - check back soon for more information, pics and release date.
BOOM BIP - SACCHRILEGE EP OUT NOW
Boom Bip has just completed his European tour, his new EP is out now in the UK and very soon worldwide.
It's been described by an Italo-loving electronic music expert at Vice magazine as "Amazing - It's like he's written the soundtrack to my thoughts."
In a recent interview, Boom Bip said "I Figured a lot of fans would consider it a departure from what I usually do - this is happy, danceable and seems sugar coated... Sacrilege to purist Boom Bip fans plus artificial sweetner Saccharin. Together... well you get it."
This is Boom Bip's first solo record in quite a while as he's been busy producing Bus Driver's latest album and the Neon Neon project with Gruff Rhys from Super Furry Animals. DJ Magazine in the UK described it as 'an amazing comeback'.

BOOM BIP SACCHRILEGE EP / TOUR
Boom Bip is back with a super-hot new EP in which he develops some of the harder, faster electro themes that have appeared throughout his previous albums.
Punchy beats and lush melodies that are trademarks of Bip's sound remain steadfast, however the influences of perhaps even 80s Italo prog-soundtrackers such as Goblin creep into the uptempo synth lines and there's more than a hint of grimey percussive baseline to guarantee dancefloor action. These are 5 tracks of the highest calibre and we can't wait until release date.

SUBTLE BREEZEBLOCK SESSION
While on tour in Europe, Subtle made it down to Maida Vale to record a session for Mary Anne Hobbes Breeezeblock show. This was broadcast in the UK on 24th Nov. You can hear the show streamed online HERE. Subtle frontman Dose One is a Maida Vale Studios veteran having recorded numerous sessions for the John Peel show with Subtle, Themselves and cLOUDDEAD.
'THE MERCURY CRAZE' SINGLE OUT NOW
The new Subtle single The Mercury Craze is out now on Lex Records / EMI in the UK and worldwide (excluding North America - where you'll have to wait until January). The enhanced CD single also includes the video, a remix by Soft Pink Truth and a collaboration track with Wolf Parade called Middle Class Haunt.

JEMINI - MEMOIRES OF AN EMCEE
Tommy Smith, aka rapper Jemini The Gifted One (of Danger Mouse & Jemini fame) has been working with a film crew to make a documentary about the life of an emcee and looking at what Hip Hop means today and on a personal level. The film also featuring Philly's Jamal Grey aka Last Emperor along with upcoming rapper Script.

This month's issue of Specialten magazine features an interview with Boom Bip & Super Furry Animals frontman Gruff Rhys who are working together on a new album. Their new project is tentatively named DeLorean and follows on from their 2005 single 'Do's & Don'ts' that was heavily spun on Zane Lowe's Radio One show last year. The album is almost finished for release in the first half of 2007. Watch this space.

DANGER MOUSE GRAMMY NOMINATION
Danger Mouse has been nominated for the Producer Of The Year Award in the 48th Annual Grammy Awards.
Lex Records artist Danger Mouse has been nominated for a Grammy for his production work on the Gorillaz second album Demon Days which was released earlier in 2005. The album also features MF DOOM who collaborated with Danger Mouse on their recent DANGERDOOM album (out now on Lex in Europe and Epitaph in North America).
Danger Mouse is up against Nigel Godrich for his work on Paul McCartney's new record, Steve Lillywhite for his work with U2 and mega production teams Jimmy Jam & Terry Lewis and The Neptunes who are both nominated for a stack of hit records.
Previous recipients of the Producer Of The Year Award include Dr.Dre and The Neptunes. The result of the 48th Annual Grammy's will be made at a ceremony in February 2006.

DANGER DOOM AUDIO
HE GORILLAZ album Demon Days is currently number 6 in the US album charts and number 1 in the UK and France (read more about that kind of thing ::here::) and Danger Mouse is limbering up for the release of the Danger Doom. Danger Doom is of course Danger Mouse on the boards and MF Doom on the mic. The album looks set for an autumn release and will be on Lex in Europe and licensed to Epitaph in the USA.

HYMIE'S BASEMENT VIDEO AWARD
ARKUS WAMBSGANSS directed the Hymie's Basement video for "21st Century Pop Song" back in 2003. It's a beautiful short film rather than a pop video. In 2004 Markus re-edited the footage and set it to another Hymie's track "Lightning Bolts & Man Hands". And what do you know - Markus just scooped 2nd Prize at the Internationale Kurtfilmtage Oberhausen a prestigious German short film festival!!.
